Am I the only one who bought a house that has these great big sinks, and then a faucet that hardly clears the back edge of the sink?  What’s the point of this big sink, if I have to literally be hitting my fingers against the back edge of the sink, in order to get some water on my hands?Problem Solved! Day 1.  This issue has bugged me from day 1.  I brought it up in our survey, but as far as I know, they’re still putting these dumb faucets in the houses they are building.

One day we came home from church and our entire downstairs bathroom was flooded because someone had BARELY left the faucet running, and the water is so close to the back edge that the teeny trickle caught the edge of the sink and went onto the counter, and eventually ran all over the bathroom floor.  Awesome.

The solution?  THIS!  A-MAZ-ING!  It is really meant for little kids who can’t reach the water flow.  But it also works for stupid faucets like ours, just to extend the reach of the water to the USABLE part of the sink!Problem Solved! No more hitting your hands on the back edge of the sink just to get your hands wet!  No more flooding of the bathroom counter from a slow trickle being left on accidentally.  Those days are GONE.Problem Solved! And really, it doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would.

My kids are mesmerized by it.

And the best part is, it’s under $10 and it takes zero skills to install.  You simply slip it on over your faucet.  The rubber is surprisingly stretchy and would fit a variety of sizes of faucets.

You can get yours on Amazon HERE.

I bought 4 – one for every bathroom faucet in our house.  Best purchase I’ve made to make this house more functional, next to the kitchen sink caddy, that is!

Well…that’s it!  I hope I helped solve yet another annoying problem for some of you out there!
