Grilled chicken dices
I’m a chicken snob. It’s incredibly hard to please me when it comes to re-heated chicken. And that’s what this tastes like to me.
BUT, most people I talk to seem to like this chicken just fine. It has a 25 year shelf life, which makes it such a good protein addition to your long term food storage.
I wish I had some words for you here, but this just isn’t something that’s in my regular rotation so I haven’t tried it.
Freeze dried Sausage Crumbles are one of my favorite meats to store; they taste amazing when reconstituted (like I said, I’m a chicken snob and don’t like reconstituted chicken, so I am excited to have found some freeze dried meats that I like).
These sausage crumbles can be used in a variety of recipes (including scrambled eggs, which are featured below), but are also great to eat on their own.
This one is so good, it even made it on my top 12 favorites post.
ONE OF MY FAVORITES! I know. You’re probably thinking, how can corn be that good? Well, it is.
It has the perfect amount of crispness and sweetness and all the things. This is another one that made my top 12 favorites list.
These are pre-cut into tiny pieces, you probably won’t even notice them in a casserole or soup. So, a great way to get some veggies into picky eaters.
But, I’ll be honest, they’re not my favorite. Also, be aware that these are dehydrated so their shelf life is only 8 years, and they take a lot longer to soften when rehydrating.
These are great! My absolute favorite Thrive Life product is the diced onions – these taste and cook the exact same. So, if you’re looking for something that gives a little more texture to a meal, these will be great. I just prefer mine to be smaller.
Early Black Friday specials
Cranberries are such a holiday fruit in my mind. These would be great to add to any of the special dishes you make in the coming months. Or mix them up in a trail mix at any time of year.
They are definitely zingy and exactly what you would expect out of cranberries – they are sweetened, but not to the point of something like a Craisin. These definitely pack a punch!
They’re only available for a limited time, so if you’re wanting to try them, I’d jump on this special.
Guess who’s back?! I talked about this one back in September and on my favorites post. So, if you need to know more you can read my thoughts on milk powder by clicking here.
This is THE BEST milk powder. The End.
Healthy and pretty tasty. This cauliflower is so good to use in pretty much any dish – soup, casseroles, on top of a salad, stir-fry. Basically, anywhere you’d normally use cauliflower go ahead and use this.
It’s also pretty decent to just crunch on as a healthy snack. It’s kinda like eating popcorn (but watch out for the gas – I know, I know – consider yourself warned).
scrambled egg mix
I talk about these in my top 12 freeze dried favorites post, so you can go read more of my thoughts there.
I actually prefer freeze dried over fresh for a few reasons:
- No shells
- No salmonella risk
- Incredibly convenient
